DEADMA lamang si Pangulong Duterte sa kontrobersiyal na video ni Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson matapos namang mabatikos sa kabastusan habang tinatalakay ang pederalismo kasama ang isang blogger.
Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque na personal na pinanood ni Duterte ang video habang nagpupulong ang mga miyembro ng Gabinete noong Lunes.
“It was shown to him. He wasn’t laughing. He was—as I said he was cool. It’s freedom of expression. He is a staunch believer of freedom of expression, kaya nga mahilig magmura ‘no. So huwag ninyo siyang pigilan ‘no, wala rin siyang pinipigilan ‘no,” sabi ni Roque.
Nauna nang umani ng mga batikos si Uson sa mga netizens at maging sa mga mambabatas
“But he says, we know that this is not exactly the federalism that we want. There has to be an official form of disseminating on the proposed changes we want on charter change; but that’s her freedom,” dagdag ni Roque.
Iginiit pa ni Roque na ginawa ni Uson ang video bilang blogger at hindi bilang opisyal ng pamahalaan.
“I guess what the President says is, you know, he said that, let it be. But there is of course formal dissemination as far as the work output of the Constitutional Committee is concerned. And the work of Asec. Mocha Uson can’t be as substitute for honest to goodness dissemination,” ayon pa kay Roque.
“She can do anything and everything on her personal blog,” ayon pa kay Roque.
