LEILA DE LIMA
SINABI ng Palasyo na hindi mabubura ang mga kaso laban kay Sen. Leila de Lima matapos namang gawaran ng Prize for Freedom Award.
Idinagdag ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque na tuloy ang mga kaso na kinakaharap ni de Lima.
“While we are certain that it is an honor for the lady senator to receive such an award from her party and ideological allies, we believe that the award she received cannot distract our people from the real issue,” sabi ni Roque.
Nakakulong si de Lima sa Camp Crame matapos namang kasuhan dahil umano sa pagiging protektor ng droga.
“Sen. De Lima, we reiterate, is no prisoner of conscience. There is now a case against her before our local court and as a respect to her right to due process, all legal processes are proceeding accordingly,” ayon pa kay Roque.
