MATAPANG na naglabas ng kanyang saloobin ang Asia’s Songbird na si Regine Velasquez hinggil sa patuloy na pagkuwestiyon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa Diyos.
Sunud-sunod ang naging tweet ni Regine last weekend tungkol sa nasabing issue, napilitan na raw siyang magsalita kahit iwas na iwas siya sa usaping pelikula.
Narito ang mensahe ng Songbird, “Nalulungkot na talaga ako. Hindi ako mahilig makialam sa mga ganito pero Mr President kuha na po namin na hindi kayo naniniwala kay GOD.
“Pero marami po sa amin ang naniniwala sa kanya. Hindi naman po namumulitika si God kaya wag na po natin sya idamay.
“But still I pray for you. May GOD bless you and may HE show you the right way to lead our country. In Jesus name I pray….” dugtong pa ni Regine.
Kung matatandaan, naging kontrobersyal ang “stupid God” statement ni Duterte. Hamon pa ni Digong, “And if there is anyone of you there, the noisy ones, who would say that you have been to heaven and talked to God, just one personally, and that He exists, the God that is yours, and if it it’s true, I will step down the presidency tonight.”
