VIC SOTTO AT VICE GANDA
FINALLY , the FAMAS people have spoken.
Hindi pala sila ang dapat resbakan kung ang recipient ng Dolphy Lifetime Achievement Award ay si Vice Ganda, and not Vic Sotto.
It’s the members of the Quizon family who selected VG over VS. Tama lang na deadpan si VS over his non-choice, call naman talaga ‘yon ng pamilya as to they believed was most deserving of the award.
But let’s also not pick on Vice Ganda, he was not at fault kung siya man ang pinagkalooban. Neither did VG ask nor lobby for it.
Pero sa isang banda, one couldn’t help but ask: bakit nga ba hindi bet ng Quizon family si Bossing, eh, kung body of work ang basehan ay lamang ito? Like Tito Dolphy, film producer din si VS. Lovelife-wise (kung ginamit ding sukatan), pareho ring makulay ang sa kanilang dalawa.
Bottom line is: respetuhan lang sa pumili at pinili.
