Tag-init na- PAGASA

      Idineklara na ng Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration ang pagsisimula ng tag-init.     Ayon sa PAGASA humina na ang pagpasok ng Hanging Amihan sa bansa at pumapasok na ang North Western pacific High Pressure Area.       “Recent PAGASA Observations showed gradual increase in daily temperature recorded in most parts of the country…..These changes in the weather system with accompanying shift of wind pattern from Northeasterly to Easterly signify the termination of the Northeast Monsoon,” ani PAGASA Administrator Vicente Malano.     Pero maaari pa rin umanong umulan kapag hapon at gabi.     “With this development, expected day-to-day weather will become warmer and drier in most parts of the country due to the dominance of the ridge of High Pressure Area and the Easterlies.  This would also signify the start of the Dry Season.”     Pinayuhan ng PAGASA ang publiko na gumawa ng mga hakbang upang mabawasan ang heat stress.
