Kaya pinakikilos ni House committee on banks and financial intermediaries chairman at Eastern Samar Rep.
“I am calling on DOT to aggressively market and promote alternative destinations in our country. Our country is so blessed with so much beautiful, enchanting and unique natural tourist destinations which are equally as beautiful as Boracay,” ani Evardone.
“Tour operators should also offer other destinations to those with cancelled reservations. This will help cushion the impact on our tourism revenues and job displacements.”
“The country’s seas, lakes and other marine resources are not spared from human destructive practices, especially the inconsiderate dumping of garbage, debris, and other wastes in our waterways,” ani Vargas.
Sa ilalim ng panukala ay magkakaroon ng National Coastal Clean-up Day kada taon, na pangungunahan ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
