BUKOD sa pagiging talentadong aktres, singer, at model, isa rin pa lang body positivity advocate ang Sherlock Jr. star at Kapuso Millennial It Girl na si Gabbi Garcia.
Sa isang Instagram post ng dalaga, inamin niyang nakararanas din siya ng bullying sa tuwing nagpo-post siya ng pictures na naka-swimsuit.
Aniya, “Whenever I post swimsuit photos, people would always bully me for my body. Well, guess what!! Yes, I have no boobs, I’m flat chested + I have my own fair share of stretch marks. And I don’t see anything wrong with it.
“If your definition of being ‘sexy’ doesn’t fit with my body type, well then sorry, but I LOVE MY BODY,” aniya sa kanyang IG post. Dagdag pa ni Gabbi, “Nobody deserves to be bullied just because of your body. We are all beautiful in our own way! #NoToBodyShaming #LoveYourBody.”
Very well said girl! Isa kang tunay na inspirasyon sa mga kabataan ngayon. Siguradong maraming mas magiging matapang ang mga tulad niya na biktima ng pambu-bully, lalo na ang mga kababaihan na laging nilalait sa social media dahil sa kanilang itsura at katawan.
