ISA kami sa ilang members ng entertainment press na nabigyan ng chance na mapanood ang pilot episode ng newest crime drama series na The Oath. Ito ang unang Hollywood Original series ng HOOQ, ang largest Video On Demand service sa South East Asia.
It stars Sean Bean (Game Of Thrones), Ryan Kwanten (True Blood), Cory Hardrict (American Sniper), Katrina Law (Training Day), Arlen Escarpeta (The Magicians), and J J Soria (Animal Kingdom).
Set in Los Angeles, The Oath dives deep into a world of gangs made up of those sworn to protect and defend. It tackles tough issues of gang culture and corruption in the LA Police force. Sa unang episode pa lang ng US series na ito ay umaatikabong aksiyon na agad, at first scene pa lang ay maho-hook ka na sa istorya.
Hindi ito basta kuwento ng mga pulis na involved sa iba’t ibang klase ng krimen at corruption, papasukin din ng The Oath ang mga nagaganap sa mga secret societies sa Amerka na talagang ikaka-shock ng mga manonood.
While all 10 episodes of the new drama will debut on March 8, 2018 in the US on the Crackle streaming service, The Oath 10 episodes will be available on HOOQ 24 hours later (today).
The Oath is created by Joe Halpin (Hawaii Five-O), who worked as a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy in South Central for 18 years, of which 12 was as an undercover officer. With such first-hand experience, The Oath might just hit the spot. And 50 Cent is one of the producers.

Bukod sa The Oath, abangan din ang bagong titles na mapapanood sa HOOQ ngayong buwan, tulad ng animated film na “Coco”, “Thor: Ragnarok”, “Justice League,” “Star Wars Episode VIII: Last Jedi” at “Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle”.
“It will be a very exciting month for movie buffs at HOOQ. We are very excited to bring these movies fresh from the cinema that the whole family will enjoy,” sabi naman ni HOOQ Philippines Country Manager Sheila Paul.
