ALIW mag-perform ang Malaysian singer na si Min Yasmin.
Min Yasmin launched her “Pangarap” album recently sa Manila Polo Club and she performed a few numbers. What’s strikingly surprising ay nakakakanta siya ng Tagalog. Actually, halos puro Tagalog ang songs sa album niya which include “Pangarap”, “Sabihin Mo Na”, “Bakit Pa” ni Jessa Zaragoza, “Kahit Konting Awa” ni Nora Aunor, “Pag-Ibig Kong Ligaw” at “Sigaw Ng Damdamin.”
Pabalik-balik na pala sa bansa si Min. “Since 2015 I am coming to the Philippines. It’s not tiring. I am enjoying it. It’s my passion,” she said.
Very noticeable ang beautiful hijab ni Min kaya naman natanong siya about it.
“This is my style, this is my passion. I want to be bold and different from other singers because if we talk about talent, every singer has talent.
“So how to be different? This is my style and strategy so that people will recognize me. ‘That’s Min Yasmin.’ Actually, I have so many collection. I do it on my own. So many people have asked me to do for them instant head gear.”
As to the difference between Pinoy and Malaysians, paliwanag ni Min, “Malaysians and Filipinos are almost the same. They are almost similar. But I found Filipino crowd more fun because they like to really express their feelings. If they like the song they really shout.
“No matter what situation they can express their feelings. I like that. Our style in Malaysia is a little bit different. We’re more like polite. In Filipino they’re very energetic, super galing. I found Filipino food nice even though they’re not so spicy. I like so much spice. So every time I come here I also like to eat Japanese and Spanish food.”
