SULIT for Richard Gutierrez ang pagtanggap niya ng villain role sa La Luna Sangre.
“When I first started this journey with La Luna, I kept an open mind. Siyempre first time kong gagawin ito sa career ko. I think sometimes, not only in the craft of acting but I guess in life, you always have to make risks.
“Sometimes those risks pay off. For me, I think the risk that I took to come her to be a contravida, I think it paid off,” he said sa finale presscon ng teleserye na magtatapos next week.
Hindi rin daw siya magdadalawang-isip na maging kontrabida uli.
“Ako, kung offer-an akong maging contravida ulit, why not basta maganda ang role. Noong una kong mabasa ko ang role ni Sandrino, sinabi ko na I have to do this character. Challenging siya, bago, exciting. Na-expand ko ang horizon ko as an actor,” say niya.
When asked kung ano ang follow-up project niya, he said, “Magpapahinga muna ako. Naka-concentrate pa rin kami sa La Luna Sangre. May gagawin akong movie sa Star Cinema. Finally, matutuloy na siya.
After La Luna, I think I‘ll ask for a little bit of time off at least to rejuvenate and spend time with my family.”
