“I would like to publicly state that I am not interested in running for a senate seat. PRRD (Duterte) only mentioned it in jest in view of my demand to the Senate to conduct a full blown public hearing and get to the bottom of the Frigate controversy,” sabi ni Go sa isang pahayag.
Idinagdag ni Go na wala siyang planong iwan si Duterte.
” I have dedicated my life to serving PRRD and I am committed to stand beside him til kingdom come,” ayon pa kay Go
Nakatakdang imbestigahan ng Senado ang alegasyon na nakialam si Go sa Frigate contract na pinasok ng Philippine Navy.
“Joke lang ni PRRD yung pagtakbo ng senador. I’m not interested to run kasi I’m committed to serve Mayor Rody hanggang kamatayan, kung di ako mauna.. sabi ni boss mag-appear ako sa hearing. That’s why I demanded a full blown senate public hearing so we can get to the bottom of the issue, to clear my name, and to prove that I did not intervene,” ayon pa kay Go.
