NAG-SORRY ang Department of Transportation (DOTr) sa 600 pasahero na naapektuhan matapos na umusok ang isang tren ng Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) noong Biyernes ng hapon.
“The DOTr appeals to the riding public’s understanding while it pushes ahead, in the most expeditious manner, strategies and actions to effectively and sustainably restore and rehabilitate the current MRT-3 system—a system that has deteriorated due to cumulative errors in policy and operational decisions made across several administrations,” sabi ng DOTr.
Nangyari ang insidente sa pagitan ng GMA-Kamuning station at Araneta-Center Cubao station ganap na ala- 1:40 ng hapon na dulot umano ng faulty generator.
Idinagdag ng DOTr na patuloy nagsasagawa ng imbestigasyon kaugnay ng insidente.
