BIMBY AQUINO YAP AT KRIS AQUINO
NAKAHANAP ng katapat ang kilalang social media influencer na si James Deakin sa katauhan ng tinaguriang Queen of Online World and Social Media na si Kris Aquino.
Hindi pinalampas ni Kris ang ipinost nitong vlogger na may titulong “How do you solve a problem like Manila?” na may kalakip pang litrato kung saan kasama niya sina Bongbong Marcos, Brandon Vera at Jun Falafox.
Ayon kay Deakin, “So for the record, I’m not a BBM defender. Nor am I a detractor. I’m a transport journalist and road safety advocate that is passionate about finding solutions to this traffic crisis we are all going through.
“And that requires having conversations and interviews with a whole range of people. Not just people that I like or who agree with me. And that is the very least you should expect from an objective journalist,” pahayag pa nito.
Nag-tweet din si Deakin ng, “And lastly, for those saying ‘why a transport official’ I interview or share my advocacies with all sorts of people. Including the Aquinos.”
Sinagot ni Kris si Deakin sa pamamagitan ng kanyang Instagram account, aniya “Was peacefully recuperating but a Road Safety Enthusiast and Influencer had to drag me as a ‘shield’ when he got some unwanted reactions because of a picture that had been posted to drum up some noise for an upcoming vlog.

Sinundan pa ito ni Kris ng, “Let’s be HONEST. We were both hired by Petron to do a webisode for them. NAGTRABAHO TAYO. BINAYARAN TAYO.
“You were informative & very good for on cam conversation. Now, I understand the need to ‘explain’ yourself but really? You’ll use 5’3 me as a ‘shield’? I am a celebrity with a political last name- but up until today I haven’t entered the political arena.”
Siguradong ikinagulat ni James Deakin ang naging pahayag ni Kris kaya agad nitong hiningi ang numero ng mommy nina Joshua at Bimby sa kaibigan nitong si Luis Manzano na ipinagpaalam muna ng TV host sa kanya.
Kinunan ni Kris ang mensahe ni Luis sana ipinost sa social media, “Hi Ninang! James Deakin is asking if he can get your number, can I give it? – Luis,” na agad naman niyang sinagot ng, “Hey there, sure.”
Nag-sorry si James kay Kris, “I see in hindsight now I shouldn’t have gone there and for that I am truly sorry. You’ve been nothing but gracious with me. And you don’t deserve to be dragged into this mess. I do hope you can accept my apology.”
Tinanggap naman ito agad ni Kris, at sinabing hanga siya sa katapangan ng nasabing social media influencer sa pagtanggap sa kanyang pagkakamali, “James Deakin, I sincerely appreciate the humble gesture to reach out, apologize & clear the air quickly.”
Bago namin tapusing tipahin ang balitang ito ay nag-post ulit si Kris ng mensahe, “I was in & out of sleep for most of the weekend, will finally have my favorite chicken breast tinola & brown rice for a late lunch.
“Naaliw ako lurking & saw that Raquel’s wedding already has 1.7 million FB views. Feeling nostalgic because 1 of Kris TV’s highest rated episodes was Gerbel’s wedding- and I am realizing just how much you’ve really embraced all events in our lives whether on free TV or online.
