Signal sa Maynila mawawala para pista ng Itim Na Nazareno

INIHAYAG ng Globe Telecom na tatanggalin nito ang signal sa Maynila bilang pagdiriwang ng pista ng Itim Na Nazareno.
Sinabi ni Globe General Counsel Atty. Froilan Castelo na ito’y bilang pagtalima sa kautusan ng National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) na nag-aatas sa mga telecommunications company na isuspinde ang serbisyo sa mga lugar na daraanan ng traslacion.
“The suspension will begin 5am of January 9, 2018 until the image of the Black Nazarene returns to Quiapo Church, at around midnight of the same day. With the directive, Globe customers along the procession route may not be able to access call, text and mobile data services while the suspension of services is in effect,” sabi ni Castelo.
Idinagdag ni Castelo na posibleng maapektuhan din ang signal sa kalapit na lugar.
“Due to overlapping mobile signal from cellsites in adjacent areas, the suspension of services could affect customers in other parts of Manila and Cavite areas,” dagdag ni Castelo.
Sinabi pa ni Castelo na mismong ang Philippine National Police (PNP) ang siyang humiling para tanggalin ang signal sa mga apektadong lugar.
“We appeal for our customers’ understanding,” ayon pa kay Castelo.
