KINONTRA ng Palasyo ang pahayag ni Vice President Leni Robredo na nakaaalarma ang isinusulong na revolutionary government ni Pangulong Duterte.
“With all due respect to the Vice President, I don’t see why it is alarming. The President has time and again said that he would only resort to a revolutionary government kapag may nag-coup, kapag lupaypay na ang gobyerno, pag nahihingalo na ang gobyerno. Of course, hindi naman ganyan ang nangyayari sa gobyerno ngayon,” paliwanag ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.
Idinagdag niya na paulit-ult nang sinasabi ni Duterte na walang dahilan para magdeklara siya ng revolutionary government.
“While it is true that there are some of the President’s allies who want a revolutionary government, he appreciates the suggestion but he had repeatedly said there is no basis and there is no need for a revolutionary government for now,” giit niya.
Naniniwala ang opisyal na ginagamit lamang ang isyu ng mga kritiko ng administrasyon.
