Jeepney driver at operator na sasali sa transport strike mananagot-Palasyo

NAGBANTA ang Malacañang na mananagot ang mga jeepney driver at operator na lalahok sa transport strike na itinakda sa susunod na linggo.

“The LTFRB (Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board) is correct in saying that the holders of public franchise and conveniences are precluded from joining such action,” sabi ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.
Nauna nang inihayag ng Piston na isasagawa nila ang ika-apat na bugso ng tigil pasada sa Lunes at Martes para tutulan ang nakaambang phaseout ng mga jeepney simula Enero 1, 2018.

“And therefore expect that their participation will come with the legal consequences, as far as the award of the certificate of public convenience is concerned,” dagdag ni Roque.
