Inendorso nina House deputy speaker Gwen Garcia, Cavite Rep. Abraham Tolentino at Kabayan Rep. Harry Roque ang reklamo nina dating Negros Oriental Rep. Jacinto Paras at Atty. Ferdinand Topacio.
Betrayal of public trust at culpable violation of the Constitution ang grounds ng inihaing kaso na ibinatay sa alegasyon ng misis ni Patricia na mayroon itong P1 bilyong tagong yaman.
“In her affidavit, Patricia Bautista said she was disclosing “certain information and documents that would show that Andy (Bautista’s nickname) might have had, or currently has, misdealing and corrupt practices while in government service.”
“Indisputably, respondent betrayed the public trust for grossly neglecting his duty as head of agency, in that he miserably failed to adopt adequate safeguards mandated under Republic Act No. 10173 or the “Data Privacy Act of 2012”, that could have prevented the leak of personal data of millions of voters or otherwise minimized the damage arising from such breach.”
