Two hit web shows, “Forever Sucks” and “Bolero Rap Battles” in particular has paved the way among D5STUDIO Originals’ entertainment offerings. Simula nang magsimula noong February ang “Forever Sucks” nakapag-build na ito ng solid and loyal following among its millennial fan base.
The show which stars Jasmine Curtis-Smith as I-zabel, a 170-year-old vampire pretending to be a normal lovelorn twentysomething returned for a second season with a new twist and a new love interest.
Sa kabila ng pagkawala sa programa ng sikat na ngayong dating theater actor na si JC Santos na naging leading man ni Jasmine sa Season 1, viewership for “Forever Sucks” remained solid and became even more phenomenal in Season 2.
Sa pagpasok naman ng karakter ni Felix Roco sa second season bilang Kiko, mas lalong tumaas ang viewership nito as it garnered almost 3 million views in less than a month within its new season premiere last Halloween, Oct. 31.
While the season ended with Izabel and Kiko in each other’s arms, fans remain optimistic for a possible return, given that Izabel’s immortality and Kiko’s humanity means that they can’t and won’t be together forever. Walang forever pero meron pa ring “Forever Sucks.”
Samantala, isa pang dapat tutukan ng netizens, lalo na ng mga rap and hip-hop fans ay ang “Bolero Rap Battles.”
Hosted by hip-hop superstars Ron Henley and Loonie, “Bolero Rap Battles” is actually a fresh spinoff of the biggest rap battle league in the country, “Fliptop Battles.”
Ngunit ang isa sa rason kung bakit unique ang show ay dahil sa “Purian, hindi si-raan!” concept nito.
With the success of “Forever Sucks 2” and “Bolero Rap Battles,” expect D5STUDIO to continue exceeding expectations as it delivers more inspired entertainment content in the years to come. You can watch D5STUDIO’s original shows online for free at https://www.d5.studio
