‘Seklusyon’ ni Erik Matti hindi ginamitan ng special effects

SA SOLO presscon ng direktor ng “Seklusyon” (na official entry din sa MMFF 2016) na si Erik Matti ay tinanong kung bakit pawang mga baguhan o hindi gaanong sikat na artista ang cast ng pelikula.

“Itong project na ito, naisip naming gawin na if we could gather a group of actors that we could launch.
“Ang hirap din kasi ngayon na everyone owning the talents, ang hirap maghanap ng time for the talents, so we wanted actors that we could make use, maybe discover new talents, discover new faces for the industry and we decided to cast sina Ronnie Alonte, Johnvic, Jay R is baguhan din, we decided to try out new names,” kuwento ni direk.

At kahit horror daw ang “Seklusyon” ay hindi nila ito ginamitan ng effects, “Lahat ginamitan namin ng camera at editing para totoo ‘yung nangyayari. We do touch hubs, pero never kaming gumawa ng CG (computer graphics) na character, lumilipad na mga demonyo. We wanted this film to be closed to realism as possible.”

Nagsimula raw mag-shoot ang “Seklusyon” noong Mayo pa at madugo raw talaga ang paggawa ng horror, idagdag pa ang schedule ng ibang cast kaya raw pahintu-hinto ang shooting nila.

“Si Ronnie may Showtime, ang dami naming ipinaalam sa Showtime, we started shooting May and inabot kami until later of July,” kuwento pa ng direktor.

Nagsimula naman daw si Ted Boborol sa pelikulang “Vince & Kath & James” kung saan kasama rin si Ronnie na entry din sa MMFF. Mula raw noon ay segue-segue na si Ronnie.
