NAGSAGAWA ng indignation rally at candle-lighting ceremony ang iba’t ibang grupo ng mga biktima ng martial lawa matapos payagan ng Korte Suprema ang paglilibing kay dating Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos sa Libingan ng mga Bayani.
Nagsimula ang protesta ganap na alas-4 ng hapon sa University of the Philippines-Diliman campus. Nagsindi rin ng kandila ang mga aktibistang estudyante sa UP Cebu.
Ilang senador at kongresista ang nagpahayag ng pagkalungkot sa naging hatol sa korte.
Ayon kay Senate President Koko Pimentel balak niyang kausapin si Pangulong Duterte hinggil dito.
Kinuwestiyon naman ni Albay Rep. Edcel Lagman ang naging desisyon ng SC. Kabilang si Lagman sa naghain ng petisyon laban sa pagpapalibing kay Marcos sa LNMB.
“While I respect the decision of the Supreme Court, I am puzzled to no end why the majority of the High Court would allow the burial of a judicially and historically confirmed despot, plunderer and transgressor of human rights in the Libingan ng mga Bayani,” sabi ni Lagman.
Sinabi naman ni Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan na magiging katawa-tawa ang Pilipinas dahil sa naging desisyon ng Korte Suprema.
