ITINANGGI ni outgoing United States Ambassador to the Philippines Philip Goldberg ang alegasyon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na plano ng Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) na siya ay patalskin o ipapatay.
“No. Those kinds of statements are not correct, not true,” sabi ni Goldberg.
Nauna nang sinabi ni Duterte na may plano ang CIA na siya ay matanggal sa pwesto.
“We’re friends of the Philippines. We’re allies of the Philippines. We respect democracy in the Philippines,” dagdag ni Goldberg.
Iginii ni Goldberg na walang basehan ang mga akusasyon ni Duterte.
“I don’t know what’s that about quite frankly. But I’ll leave it at that. It has no foundation,” giit ni Duterte.
Nauna nang tinawag na bakla ni Duterte si Goldberg, bagamat sinabi ng huli na mananatiling matibay ang relasyon ng Pilipinas at Amerika.
