As for Vice Ganda, let’s face it, MMFF is never without a Star Cinema entry starring the Unkabogable Star. Namayapa man ang box-office director niyang si Wenn Deramas, it doesn’t mean “death” for Vice Ganda competing head-on in the race.
The dark horse yet appears to be Vhong via a remake of a Chiquito classic na sinimulan nang i-shoot ng direktor nitong si GB Sampedro produced by a breed of budding entrepreneurs pooling their resources together for their initial crack at the filmmaking business.
Bossing Vic’s, Vice Ganda’s and Vhong’s respective entries are all comic breathers expected to make a killing at the box office. For now, kung alin sa tatlo will clinch the first, second and third places is early to tell.
