This film is opening nationwide on Aug. 10. “That Thing Called Tanga Na” revolves around the lives of five friends – four gays and a lady – each of whom has a story to tell about the sacrifices they did in finding true love.
Eric (Ronnie Chiu) is a rich lawyer and Pinoy movie fan. He freaks out when he discovers that his young boytoy is having an affair with a gay talent manager younger than he is. His live-in partner suffers a medical condition that drives him to take care of him like a “dutiful wife”.
Kean as C.C. plays the character of an online clothing company owner. He and his boyfriend have been on for five years. Plano niyang magpakasal sa Central Park, New York City. Ang hindi niya alam, engaged na ang boyfriend niya sa isang Korean and he has been tapped to design and execute the bride’s wedding gown.
Isa namang transgender si Mart bilang si Georgette/George. He financially supports his boyfriend pati ang family nito. George and his boyfriend form a union sans the church’s blessing and Georgette is able to fulfill his dream through the help of his boyfriend’s wife.
Angeline naman is Shirley, a trying hard singer/events specialist.
Believe me. Kaloka!
