CHARTING a career in showbiz is just a matter of course for Richard Parojinog, also known as Mr. Pastillas. Pastillas Girl, of course, is Angelica Yap.
After a short stint on It’s Showtime where he acted as one of the suitors of Ms. Pastillas and later nagwagi siya bilang Mr. Pastillas, Richard is now out to try showbiz. Nag-date naman for a couple of times sina Richard at Angelica but it did not lead to any romantic interlude.
Aminado si Richard na hindi niya tuluyang niligawan si Angelica. Not for anything, ha, pero ayon sa kanya ay mas gusto niyang magka-girlfriend na hindi taga-showbiz. “But we have remained friends. Meron naman kaming communication. Nagkukumustahan naman kami, nagte-text pero hindi na masyadong frequent ngayon,” Richard intimated to us over diner recently.
Inalok pala si Richard na makasama sa Hashtags but he declined, “Hindi kasi ako marunong magsayaw,” he mused. Ang maganda kay Richard, hindi siya ilusyonado. All he wants is to be a character actor, “Kasi wala naman akong pag-asang maging heartthrob.”
Actually, among Richard’s talents is singing. Marunong naman siyang kumanta. Nakahiligan niya ang musika noong bata pa siya. Tapos din siya ng HRM course so meron siyang fallback kapag huminto siya sa showbiz.
For now, magiging busy si Richard sa acting workshops para kapag sumalang na siya sa serye o pelikula, game na game na siya.
