INIIMBESTIGAHAN na ng ABS-CBN management ang kontrobersiyang kinasasangkutan ngayon ng Kapamilya news reporter na si Doris Bigornia.
Ayon sa istasyon, narinig na nila ang side ni Doris hinggil sa mga nangyari at nakikipag-ugnayan na rin sila sa kampo ng Kapuso news correspondent na si John Paul Sarsuelo Seniel.
Narito ang official statement ng ABS-CBN na ipinadala sa BANDERA ni Mr. Kane Errol Choa, Head of Corporate Communications ng Kapamilya Network.
“ABS-CBN News is investigating the incident involving journalist Doris Bigornia that was the subject of an open letter/complaint by a GMA reporter.
“Bigornia has given her side of the story and we are now evaluating the claims and counter-claims of the two reporters.
“We have also reached out to the GMA reporter to discuss the issue.
“As we continue to investigate, we assure the public of our commitment to uphold the provisions of our Ethics and Standards Manual”
