IN exasperation perhaps over the left and right bashing she got all because she was allowed to ride on a presidential chopper, Kris Aquino posted a data obtained from the Bureau of Internal Revenue which showed the amount of taxes she paid since 2008 using the hashtags #TRUTH #HonestTaxpayer.
It showed that she paid more than P25 million in 2008; more than P12 million in 2009; more than P32 in 2010; more than P49 million in 2011; more than P44 million in 2012; more than P40 million in 2013; more than P54 million in 2014 and more than P61 million in 2015.
It has a total of P322,098,558.74 tax paid.
Nakakalula ang binayarang tax ni Kris, talagang ubod ng laki for an individual tax payer.
Although she did not mention the reason for posting the summary of her tax payments, it can be deduced that she posted it to show to all and sundry that she’s one of the country’s top individual tax payers and that she’s an honest one.
