MAINE MENDOZA AT ALDEN RICHARDS
SA presscon din ng “Panahon Ng May Tama #Comi-Kilig” ay tinanong ang producer ng show na si Joed Serrano kung ano na ang nangyari sa offer niya kina Maine Mendoza na mas kilala bilang si Yaya Dub at Alden Richards para sa isang Valentine show.
Nabalita kasi noong bandang Oktubre, 2015 na inoperan ni Joed ang dalawa para sa Valentine show nila na gaganapin sa Smart Araneta Coliseum ngayong buwan at 8-digit ang ibibigay na talent fee sa bawa’t isa.
Hindi na ito natuloy kaya ang “Panahon Ng May Tama” na lang ang ipinrodyus niya. Kuwento ni Joed ay totoong inalok niya ng tumatagiting na P20 million ang AlDub, “As you can see, totoo ‘yung date ko kasi, nasa akin ‘yung date na Feb. 13 and 14 ng Araneta.
“After formalizing the offer with the contract, I patiently waited for reply and decision from Alden Richards’ and Maine Mendoza’s respective managers. Nakausap ko sila nang paulit-ulit.
“So, late last year, they informed me that the planned concert for two nights this Feb. 13 and 14 nga would require much time and effort for preparation. Totoo naman din kasi ang pagpe-prepare ng concert, eh matagal.
“So, kung ang artista eh medyo busy, magsa-suffer ‘yung concert. Plus of course, there’s a different plan from GMA 7 and TAPE office (humahawak ng career ni Yaya Dub) for the two of them.
“But after that offer, alam n’yong makulit ako, nag-concentrate ako ng solong offer for Alden. To cut the long story short, because of their hectic schedule, ang desisyon ng management ay maghintay until middle or latter part of this year.
“Or depende, or GMA 7 will do it on their own. Ako, nandu’n ako sa posisyon na wala akong tinanggihan, ako ‘yung nag-offer.
“In any case, I thank their managers for studying my offer even if they had to decline eventually. But ‘yung local tours ko, like this coming Feb. 21, I’ll have Alden in Clark, so tuloy-tuloy ‘yung local,” paliwanag ni Joed.
