“My basis for choosing members of my cabinet or in any position in government should be integrity competence professionalism and the ability to deliver in a timely manner, whether in showbiz, male or female, they’re welcome to serve in my administration as long as they have those attributes I think we’ve seen.

“And I’m quite proud one of my senatoriables (Isko Moreno) has started out really literally from smokey mountain, and as you know earned his way all the way to being a public servant, being an actor, studying, serving in local government and being where he is now.

“I think this is a fine example, you may not like the cards that you are dealt with but then you make the most out of it. And I think this is also for our friends in showbiz, some of them are great communicators. Dingdong Dantes I think is in the National Youth Commission but when I spoke to him he is very knowledgable about what’s happening in the youth sector, he is very active I think even in the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.
