REPLY: Para sa iyong katanungan Ms. Robes , bago ang disability claim ay maaari munang mag-file ng sickness benefits ang iyong mother. Ngunit mas mabuting alamin muna sa kanilang kumpanya kung mayroon pa siyang sickness benefits dahil kung wala na ay maaaring mag-file ng sickness benefits sa SSS.
Dapat din na inabisuhan ang employer limang simula sa araw ng pagkakasakit.
Mabilis lanang makuha ang sickness claim kaya malaking tulong din ito sa iyong mother na pambili ng kanyang gamot.

Certification from last employer showing the effective date of separation from employment or notice of the company’s closure/strike or certification from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) that the employee or employer has pending labor case.
