Walang banta sa Nazareno – PNP

TINIYAK kahapon ng Philippine National Police (PNP) na wala itong namomonitor na banta sa nakatakdang pagdiriwang ng Itim Na Nazareno sa Enero 9.
Sinabi ni PNP spokesperson Chief Supt. Wilben Mayor na itinalaga ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) ang Manila Police District (MPD) bilang Site Security Task group.
“It is headed by Chief Supt. Rolando Nana, District Director of MPD in coordination with the local government unit (LGU) Manila and the religious group,” sabi ni Mayor.
Idinagdag ni Mayor na susuporta naman ang iba pang PNP personnel mula sa NCRPO at iba pang district offices.
“As of this time no threat has been monitored. Continous monitoring will be conducted by intelligence units to ensure the safety and security of the devotees,” ayon pa kay Mayor.
Inaasahang aabot sa mahigit 10 milyon ang lalahok sa prusisyon ng Itim Na Nazareno sa Sabado.
