INIHAYAG ni Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Adres Bautista na ibinasura ng Comelec en banc ang mga apela na inihain ni Sen. Grace Poe matapos namang siyang madiskwalipika ng dalawang division ng poll body sa pagtakbo sa 2016 presidential polls.
“It looks like it’s denied (based on the votes),” sabi ni Bautista.
Tumanggi naman si Bautista na magbigay pa ng detalye sa pagsasabing magpapatawag pa siya ng press conference para ipaliwanag ang naging botohan ng en banc.
Idinagdag ni Bautista na meron ding mga commissioner na mga miyembro ng First at Second Division ang nag-iba ng kanilang desisyon matapos ang apela ni Poe.
“There were some who reversed their decisions.”
Nauna nang sinabi ni Comelec Commissioner Rowena Guanzon na nakapagdesisyon na ang Comelec kaugnay ng mga inihaing motion for reconsideration ni Poe.
“We have voted on the motion for reconsideration, it will be finished most likely by tomorrow (Wednesday). We have all voted. It would be better tomorrow because the promulgation will likely be tomorrow,” sabi ni Guanzon.
