“Actually, I was expecting for the worst.
I was expecting that you would boo me.
I was expecting that you guys would leave…akala ko, ibu-boo n’yo ako, pero kayo pa ‘yung nagtsi-cheer sa akin.“Lalo ko pong naa-appreciate ‘yung ipinapakita ninyong pagmamahal sa akin.
You deserve more than this,” ang dialogue ng Songbird.
She doesn’t want to shortchange her audience.
“Regine Velasquez loses voice during Silver concert, offers free concert for ticket holders,” tweet ni Julius Babao.
Some celebrities sympathized with the Songbird dahil sa nangyari sa kanyang voice.
They took to Twitter to show how they commiserate with her.
TV host Kris Aquino offered some information as to what happened to Regine’s voice, “Regine said it was a virus she caught but promised the fans in MOA a repeat so that in her words they could see the show they deserve,” she tweeted.
This was followed by another message which said, “Headed home. Will pray for Regine’s health to recover soon.#reginianforever.”
Vice Ganda showered the Songbird with praises even if she lost her voice, “Whatever happens and whatever other people may say after tonight’s concert @reginevalcasid will always be Asia’s Songbird and the Greatest Diva for me!” the stand-up comedian tweeted.
Erickson Raymundo, manager of Sam Milby said, “Regine is crying expressing that she expected the crowd to leave coz of her lack of voice tonight. Audience here at regine’s concert is very supportive despite her struggle to sing.”
Concert King Martin Nievera believes it happens to anyone, “Regine we r praying for you!
Tao ka Lang girl! Happens to us all. Now get better. Love you!” he tweeted.
