Hugot lines pa more sa part 2 ng love story nina Popoy at Basha

second chance

JOHN LLOYD Cruz and Bea Alonzo reprises their iconic roles as Popoy and Basha in Star Cinema’s upcoming romantic-drama “A Second Chance”, this is the highly anticipated sequel of 2007’s smash box-office hit “One More Chance.”

Bilang sina Popoy at Basha, hindi maitatanggi na naging Fi-lipino pop-culture icons bigla sina Bea at John Lloyd as the love story of the characters they brilliantly portrayed spawned a generation of heartbroken romantics who continue to hope for true love.

“One More Chance”, which generally influenced the perception of Millennials on love, is the very first worldwide hit of Star Cinema.

Ako na lang ulit” and “She had me at my worst. You had me at my best…and you choose to break my heart”.

And now, eight years after they melted the hearts of millions of Filipinos, Popoy and Basha returns for a second serving of the one of the most amazing love stories ever told in the history of Philippine cinema.

Siyempre, ito’y sa direksiyon pa rin ng blockbuster director na si Cathy Garcia-Molina kasama ang very ta-lented screenwriters na sina Carmi Raymundo and Vanessa Valdez. Set seven years after their reconciliation, ang “A Second Chance” ay ang continuation ng love story nina Popoy at Basha.

This time, the film explores the intricacies and rea-lities of married life. This movie depicts that not everything is as peachy as Popoy and Basha hoped it would be. Popoy is a failed achiever, struggling to keep his business afloat and his self-esteem intact.

Basha, on the other hand, assumes the role of a docile wife who had given up so much to keep her marriage together. By painting a diffe-rent picture of the two cha-racters the country has grown to love, “A Second Chance” dares to ask the question of whether love remains the same even when people inevitably change.

Basha contemplates on the reality that loving Popoy at his best is easy. But will she love him enough to stay with him even at his worst?

John Lloyd’s and Bea’s countless loyal fans are as well an entire new generation of moviegoers are in for another unforgettable cinematic experience from Star Cinema as “A Second Chance” is the very first full-length movie of these two exceptional actors since they starred in 2012’s megahit, “The Mistress”.

Tama? Tama! Ha-hahahaha! “A Second Chance” is showing in all cinemas nationwide starting Nov. 25.

Ha-hahaha! Doon ako actually super-interested.  Alam ko namang ma-ganda talaga ang movie na ito pero for sure, walang kaipokritahan, gusto kong makita ang lubot ni John Lloyd more than Bea’s body. Eiwww for me siyempre dahil ba-dingding aketch, di ba?

Aside from this, narinig kong mas maramin hugot lines ang mapapanood sa movie na tiyak na magiging paboritong dialogue na naman ng mga hopeless romantic na mga Pinoy! Mind you, this is truly an award-winning film again.

Congrats in advance, OK?
