DOH naalarma sa pagtaas ng kaso ng HIV, AIDS

SINABI ng Department of Health (DOH) na 18 bagong kaso ng human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) ang naitatala kada araw.
Idinagdag ng DOH na mas mataas ito kumpara sa siyam na kaso kada araw noong 2012.
Base sa datos mula sa Philippine HIV and AIDS Registry, umabot sa 536 na bagong kaso ang naitala sa buwan ng Enero pa lamang, 20 mas mataas kumpara sa kaparehong buwan noong 2014.
Ayon pa sa DOH, 61 dito ay kabilang sa full-blown AIDS.
Sinabi pa ng DOH na umabot na naman sa 14 ang namatay noong Enero.
