Gown ni MJ Lastimosa pinakachaka sa 2014 Miss Universe top 10 Finalists
LATE na akong natulog yesterday morning dahil past 5 a.m. na kami dumating ng alaga kong si Michael Pangilinan from Quezon Province dahil nag-guest ito sa kapistahan ng Municipality of Pitogo, Quezon along with GMA 7’s artist Diva Montelaba.
Ito’y sa imbitasyon ng guwapong-guwapong birthday boy nating si Quezon Gov. Jayjay Suarez and mom, Cong. Aleta Suarez. Pero siyempre, bago ako matulog ay nag-request ako sa kasambahay ko to wake me up by 11 a.m. dahil maliban sa meron akong mahalagang appointment ay gusto kong mapanood ang 2014 Miss Universe sa ABS-CBN.
Tamang-tama namang paggising ko ay announcement na ng Top 10 at nakasali nga ang napakaganda nating si Ms. Philippines, MJ Lastimosa, who looked so radiant and truly winnable.
Oh no, ang gaganda nilang lahat. Walang tapon – very elegant and sooo beautiful in their long gown. Honestly, ang kay MJ yata ang pinakachakang gown – no offense meant ha – kasi nga, some gowns just flowed naturally while yung kay MJ ay ang kapa and looked heavy.
In fairness to Ms. MJ, she tried to carry it well pero mahirap talagang dalhin ang ganoong uri ng gown. Alanganing Filipiniana or something that you could just swing around. Slightly suman-like ang dating compared to the super-sexy, revealing and naturally-designed outfits ng ibang kandidata.
After some commercial breaks ay announcement na ng Top 5 – pero hindi na nakasama ang ating bet who has always been a crowd’s favorite.
In fairness to her, she shone in every monent except for this one thing na napansin namin – bad gown. Sayang kasi hindi nagpabaya si Ms. MJ, she stood out in many categories.
It’s not her fault anyway, whoever designed her gown did not capture the svelte figure of our love candidate. Enough na sana of the suman-fit – let’s get rid of these types of gowns.
Let it be flowing next time. Yung very elegant na pwedeng laruin sa entablado sana as you walk. Hope Ms. Stella Marquez Araneta reads this. Ha-hahaha!
Everyone’s rooting for Miss Philippines to be Miss Universe this year pero hindi lang tayo sinuwerte this time but kudos to Ms. MJ Lastimosa dahil she did her best to shine.
Ang mahalaga ay hindi siya nagkalat, ‘no! We should be very proud of her. Congrats pa rin dahil nakasama tayo sa Top 10.
Bakit? Ang Ms. Venezuela nga na regular nang nananalo ay ligwak din sa Top 5? And the choices for the Top 5 ay wala rin namang tapon eh, lahat deserving, di ba?
