PH naka-4 ginto sa Hong Kong memory championship

KUMULEKTA ng apat na ginto, anim na pilak at tatlong tansong medalya ang Pilipinas sa Hong Kong International Memory Championships na ginanap nitong Sabado at Linggo sa Lutheran Secondary School sa Hong Kong.
Si Mark Anthony Castaneda, ang kauna-unahang Grandmaster of Memory ng Pilipinas, ay nanalo ng ginto sa tatlong events: Speed Cards, Historic/Future Dates at Names and Faces. Pumangalawa naman siya sa Spoken Numbers event at pumangatlo sa 30-Minute Binary at Speed Number.
Ang isa pang Filipino Grandmaster na si Erwin Balines ay nagwagi ng ginto sa Abstract Images at tumuhog ng apat na  pilak sa 30-Minute Cards, Historic/Future Dates, 30-Minute Binary Digits at Names and Faces. May  tanso rin siya sa 30-Minute Numbers at pinarangalan ng Sportsmanship Award ng torneo.
Si candidate-Grandmaster Axel Tabernilla ay nag-uwi naman ng tanso sa Spoken Numbers habang ang isa pang miyembro ng koponan na si Benjamin Fontanilla ay nabigong makakuha ng medalya.
Ang kampanya ng Pilipinas dito ay may basbas ng Philippine Mind Sports Association at suportado ng Hotel Sogo, W1N International at Rotary Club of Pasig.
