SONA ni PNoy genuine—VP
IBA-IBA naman ang naging reaksyon ng mga mambabatas at maging ng publiko sa State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Aquino:
“His speech was very emotional [and] when you appeal to the heart there is always that presumption that it’s genuine,” ang naging pahayag ni Vice President Jejomar Binay nang hingan siya ng reaksyon.
Nang tanungin naman siya hinggil sa kung sino ang dapat piliin sa 2016 election na dapat na papalit sa kanya ay ito ang naging tugon ni Binay:“[I think it means that] the main basis for selecting whom you are going to vote for the next election is one who will be experienced, has the wisdom, and has the track record as an executive.”
“Hindi natin narinig ang tama – bigas, bilihin, peace and order, browout ang dapat narinig. Ang tawag ng kabataan dyan ay ‘boom panes’”, ayon kay Buhay Rep. Lito Atienza.
“I think the president missed to mention the gut issues of majority of Filipinos who have long been reeling from the effects of inflation as seen in the latest Pulse Asia survey,” ayon naman kay Valenzuela Rep. Sherwin Gatchalian.
“The best SONA he has delivered. I’m talking about the SONA, the figures…its up to them. I don’t think they would like with figures,” ayon naman kay Navotas Rep. Toby Tiangco, Secretary General ng UNA.
“Very emotional but factual,” ayon naman kay Cavite Rep. Elpidio Barzaga.
Walkout
Nag-walkout naman ang mga miyembro ng Makabayan block ilang segundo bago pa magsimulang magtalumpati si Aquino.
“Most emotional, difficulties, challenges that he faced.
At ngayon binigyan niya ng mukha ang tagumpay ng kanyang mga polisiya. Pag-unlad ng ating ekonomiya, gave face to the progress that we have seen,” ayon naman kay Senate President Franklin Drilon.
Pinuri naman ni Senador Jose Victor “JV” Ejercito dahil sa emosyonal na speech. Ikinatuwa rin ng ibang senador ang hindi pagbanggit ni Aquino sa kanyang talumpati ang tatlong senador na kinasuhan ng plunder.
“The President did not mention the cases of the three because they are in court,” ayon kay Drilon. Maging si Senador Nancy Binay at Teofisto Guingona III ay natuwa sa di pagbanggit kina Senador Juan Ponce Enrile, Jinggoy Estrada at Bong Revilla.
“Baka it’s not proper to mention the other senators,” ani Binay. Tama naman umano ang ginawa ni Aquino, bilang respeto na rin sa judiciary. Samantala, natuwa rin si Commission on Elections Commissioner Gregorio Larrazabal sa speech ni Aquino na hindi naging palaban o paaway, hindi gaya noong mga nauna niyang SONA.
Umani rin ng iba’t ibang rekasyon ang speech ni SONA mula sa netizen. Ilan sa mga ito ay nainis din sa ginawa umanong pag-arte ni Kris Aquino na nakitang napaluha habang nagsasalita ang kapatid.
