Kris pinagsisihan na na-in love sa isang lalaking ‘worth P40M’

KAKAIBA at nag-iisa talaga ang Queen of All Media na si Kris Aquino. She made her “comeback” really, really felt sa buong industriya especially sa entertainment press, bloggers and TV reporters.

Sa ginanap na grand media conference ng 25th anniversary movie offering ng Star Cinema, ang “I Love You, Haters” na ipalalabas on July 11, nagpasabog ng bonggang raffle prizes si Kris worth more than P1 million.

Pero bago ang pa-raffle ni Kris, super aliw na ang lahat sa no-holds barred na sagot niya sa mga tanong.

Gaya na lang when she was asked by a colleague on what is it about love she knew then that holds true until now?

“Absolutely nothing,” mabilis na tugon ni Kris. “Mali ako dati, e. Kasi uhm, hindi ako nakinig sa mom ko. She said that love is ultimately about letting go of yourself and making the other person more important than you.

“So, I was never capable of that. And now, at my age I am. But I think, at this point it’s too elusive already. So, narinig ko lang ‘yun na kung ano ang inakala kong love dati na totoo pa hanggang ngayon, inisip ko dati na ang love dapat mahirap. Para maging true love dapat against all odds. Mali din ako because for it to be love it should be effortless,” paliwanag niya.

Diretsahan ding sinabi ni Kris na meron siyang regret nu’ng mahalin niya ang isang lalaki, “Oh, yes! P40 million worth,” sabay ismid.

On her showbiz career, inamin ni Kris na na-miss niya talaga ang pag-arte. Kaya super thankful siya sa Star Cinema lalo na kay Roxy Liquigan na siyang nag-text sa kanya regarding “I Love You, Hater” with Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto.

“The acting part was what I truly missed and I have to had it to my director. I have not worked with somebody this meticulous and, somebody this young and yet so brilliant already.

“And she was able to get, I believe one of the best performances I‘d ever able been to give in my life because she knew the right buttons to push. And they gave me a script that on that day I had to shoot it, at sa sobrang naging emotional nag-160/120 ang BP (blood pressure) at tatlong araw nakaratay after. So, ganu’n siya kagaling na direktor,” she added.

Puring-puri ni Kris sina Joshua at Julia bilang mga katrabaho at mahuhusay na artista, “Oh my God! I wish na ganoon ako kamasunurin nu’ng kasing-age nila ako. Kasi they know what the craft is all about. They respect the work. Bimb is so in love with Julia.”

Naghihintay lang daw si Bimby na may mali uling gawin si Joshua kay Julia, “Ibang kamandag meron si Julia Barretto. She is just so raw and so real. And I’ll just have to say that, I say this without meaning to offend anybody but my son identifies so much with her. So, ‘pag may ganu’n ka that already means you have a gift, ‘di ba? Na if someone can see himself in you, in your life experiences that would mean na napakagaling mong artista.

“Pero si Joshua, sabihin ko talaga, I got into this movie na hindi ko pa siya masyadong kilala. But the more I got to know him naintindihan ko na kung bakit in love si Julia,” aniya.

Looking forward naman ang marami sa muli nilang pagsasama ng Asia’s King of Talk na si Boy Abunda sa Tonight With Boy Abunda para sa promo ng movie nila.

“You know I had asked if that’s part of my, and I actually asked Mico if I could do it tonight. No, because it’s too early. So, they are fixing it and uh, but, because we’re also dependent on them (JoshLia) because paalis sila,” sabi pa ni Kris.

Pupunta ng Hawaii sina Joshua at Julia sa June 26 at babalik on July 2. That night, nasa Hongkong naman si Kuya Boy for a LGBT conference.
