- June 18, 2018 - 06:32 PM

SINABI ni Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III na aaprubahan ng INQUIRER.net ang kanyang kahilingan na tanggalin ang mga “malicious opinion and news items because they were original fake news.”

“They will take it down because it was fake news,” sabi ni Sotto nang tanungin kung magsasampa siya ng kasong libel, sakaling hindi aprubahan ang kanyang sulat.

Iginiit naman ni INQUIRER.net publisher at editor in chief Abel Ulanday na “there has been no decision yet on the request.”

The Rape of Pepsi Paloma” at “Was Pepsi Paloma Murdered?”

Kinondena naman ng National Union of Journalist of the Philippines ang aksyon ni Sotto sa pagsasabing ito ay “brazen attempt to suppress freedom of the press and of expression by asking online news portal Inquirer.net to take down three stories about him from its site.”
