Anyway, Istorya ng Pag-Asa Film Festival is a project of the Office of the Vice President and The Ayala Foundation. Present sa event si Vice-President Leni Robredo where she urged Filipinos to strive to fulfill a “collective responsibility” to create a life that is more prosperous, more inclusive, and more free for everyone.

Ang Istorya ng Pag-Asa (INP) ay nagsimula as a traveling photo gallery featuring different stories of hope by the Filipino people. Ni-launch ang INP sa Ayala Museum last Nov. 27, 2016.

This is a nationwide all-digital film for competition for original short documentaries featuring extraordinary stories of ordinary people. There were 75 submitted entries which were trimmed down to 15 finalists. Kasama sa board of judges sina Shamaine Buencamino, Doy del Mundo, Liza Dino, Quark Henares at Dan Villegas.

“Ang Biyahe Ni Marlon” directed by Florence Rosini was named Best Film. Kwento ito ni Marlon Fuentes na may Tourette Syndrome (TS), a condition that shows through involuntary movements or tics.

Mapapanood ang top three films sa Ayala Mall Cinemas from June 13 to 30.
