Gretchen sumuko sa mga bashers, itinigil na ang ‘online tulong’ para sa mga Pinoy
EXASPERATED over the bashing na natanggap nila when a video of her and her friends went viral, nag-decide si Gretchen Barretto na itigil na ang wish-granting activity niya sa social media.
“We are going to bid goodbye not because we are… not because we are gonna back down but because marami po ang mga tao na nadadamay rito,” La Greta said in her recent Instagram Live.
La Greta felt it was too much that her friends Patty Pineda and Mimi Que were dragged into the controversy.
“Kung ako lang po siguro… by now, alam niyo po na I am made of steel. I may cry once in a while, but a lot of times, I can be very, very strong also. Pinagtibay na talaga ako ng panahon,” she said.
“Sanay na po ako sa bashing. Galing po ako sa show business. I worked at age 12. A lot of bashing has been made already,” she added.
One female supporter was disappointed with La Greta’s decision that she reacted, “Hello Ms. Gretchen and friends. why stop doing your good deeds? Alam nyo po ba na sa mga taong gumagawa ng mabuti ay nandyan ang demonyo? They are trying to destruct you.
“Kung papaapekto kayo sa kanila nanalo ang demonyo. Huwag nyo na lang po silang pansinin. Isipin nyo na lang yung mga taong matutulungan ninyo. If you grant chemo and dialysis, it can save lives!
“Those who are bashing you, they cannot save lives. Wala silang alam kundi ang magbash ng magbash. so huwag nyo na lang pong pansinin,” Gretchen added.
