DAHIL sa pagsasagawa ng tatlong malalaki at importanteng event na susubok sa tatag at lakas ng loob ng mga Pinoy sa Mayo 13 ay idineklara ito ng Allianz bilang “Day of Courage.”
Una na rito ang PHA Heart Run sa SM By the Bay kung saan kaagapay ng Allianz ang Philippine Heart Association. Makikitakbo rito ang mga “heart condition survivors” sa 1-kilometer advocacy division para isulong ang awareness sa cardiovascular diseases na laganap na sa mga Pilipino ngayon.
Lalarga rin sa Mayo 13 ang Allianz Conquer Challenge sa Vermosa, Laguna pati na ang Bayanihan Walk sa Singapore kung saan inaasahang lalahok ang mga Pinoy doon.
Ang Allianz Conquer Challenge ay isang obstacle course race kung saan magtatagisan ang mga kalahok sa larangan ng speed, endurance at strategy.
Magiging mas makabuluhan ang event na ito sa paglahok ni Jamil Faisal Saro Adiong, na binigyan ng Sultan Kudarat Award for Peace and Community Development dahil sa kanyang naiambag sa bayan niyang Marawi City, Lanao del Sur.
“I am offering my participation in the race to all my fellow Maranaos, in the hope that we may all triumph in our aspirations with mutual respect through harmonious relationships and inclusive economic development as we rise stronger and more resilient than before,” aniya.
