Hepe nangotong sa perya, dakip

Arestado ang hepe ng pulisya sa Sasmuan, Pampanga, nang maaktuhang tumanggap ng perang mula sa pangongotong sa perya, Martes ng gabi. Dinampot si Chief Insp. Romeo Bulanadi sa loop mismo ng Sasmuan Police Station, sabi ni Chief Supt. Amador Corpus, direktor ng Central Luzon regional police. Mga tauhan ng PNP Counter Intelligence Task Force (CITF) mula Camp Crame ang nagsagawa ng operasyon laban kay Bulanadi, aniya. Isinagawa ang entrapment operation dakong alas-7:15, sabi ni Senior Supt. Chiquito Malayo, commander ng PNP CITF.

Bago iyo’y hiningan ni Bulanadi ang operator ng isang perya ng P30,000 at pinigil ang huli sa paghakot sa kanilang kagamitan, kung di maibibigay ang pera, aniya.

Si Bulanadi, na kapo-promote lang sa ranggong chief inspector noong Hulyo 31, 2017, ang mismong tumanggap sa pera kaya agad nadakip, sabi pa ni Malayo. Naganap ang pagdakip kay Bulanadi ilang oras lang matapos madakip ang anim pang pulis, dahil din sa pangongotong, sa Carranglan, Nueva Ecija. Sa kabila ng magkasunod na operasyon laban sa kanyang mga nasasakupang pulis, hinikayat pa ni Corpus ang mga tao sa Central Luzon na ipagpatuloy ang pagsusumbong laban sa mga tiwaling alagad ng batas. “These counter-intelligence operations against our personnel shows efforts of the PNP in removing bad eggs in the police force, and that the rule of law does not distinguish rank, position, or popularity. This is a clear manifestation of our keen determination to remove misfits among the ranks of our organization,” aniya.
