Lea apektado sa pagmumura ni Win Gatchalian laban sa mga bashers
ISA ang international singer na si Lea Salonga sa napakaraming nag-react matapos murahin ni Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian ang kanyang mga basher sa social media.
Hindi napigilan ng senador ang kanyang emosyon nang sunud-sunod siyang makatanggap ng negatibong komento mula sa mga netizen dahil sa pagkontra niya sa naging pahayag ng Liberal Party na ipaglalaban ng partido ang “nation’s soul” sa 2018.
Tweet ni Gatchalian, “The nation already lost its soul in the last 6 years.” Hindi ito nagustuhan ng ilang netizens kaya binatikos siya ng mga ito at tinawag pang “trapo” at kung anu-ano pang masasakit na salita.
Gumamit ang senador ng mga salitang “g*go,” “g*go ka!” at “ul*l” sa pagsagot niya sa mga basher kaya naman mas inulan siya ng kanegahan sa social media.
Sa kanya namang Twitter account, nagbigay ng payo si Lea kay Gatchalian. Aniya, “Oh dear. If you can’t handle the heat, get out of the kitchen. Being a public figure means having to deal with haters and bashers from time to time, whether in person or on social media. Keeping the eyes on what’s important is what keeps one sane through the craziness.”
Dugtong pa ng singer-actress, “The stuff I’ve been called on social media through the years is enough to drive one crazy, but it hasn’t. I won’t let the haters and bashers win. Besides, there are more good people out there than not.”
“Let this be a reminder to celebs, politicos, etc. on social media, only one degree of separation from everyone else. You’re fair game the moment you open an account, and it can really test your patience and resolve,” pahabol pang tweet ni Lea.
