SINUSPINDE ng Palasyo ang pasok sa mga tanggapan ng gobyerno sa Disyembre 26, 2017 (Martes) at Enero 2, 2018 (Martes) bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng kapaskuhan.
Sa ipinalabas na Memorandum Circular number 37, sinabi ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea na ito ay naglalayong mabigyan ng mas mahabang oras ang mga kawani ng pamahalaan kasama ang kanilang mga mahal sa buhay ngayong holiday.
“The suspension of work in other branches of government and other independent commissions or bodies, as well as in private companies and offices, on the said dates, is left in the sound discretion of their respective heads/management,” sabi ni Medialdea.
Regular holiday ang Disyembre 25, 2017 (Lunes) at Enero 2, 2018 (Lunes).
