Preventive suspension vs bus units na sangkot sa aksidente sa Occidental Mindanao
SINABI ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) na nakatakda nitong ipag-utos ang preventive suspension laban sa lahat ng unit ng bus na nasangkot sa aksidente sa Occidental Mindoro na nakapatay ng dalawang katao kagabi.
“The board will be issuing a preventive suspension order on its two units. It appears that the bus is out of line, since the franchise was issued by region 3, therefore the bus should only be operating within Region 3, but the road crash happened in Region 4,” sabi ni LTFRB board member Aileen Lizada
Idinagdag ni Lizada na nakatakdang ipatawag ng LTFRB University Rizal System (URS) sa isang pagdinig.
Di pa matiyak ang pagkakakilanlan ng mga nasawi’t nasugatan, pero 44 estudyante ng Rizal University System sa Morong ang sakay ng bus, sabi ni Supt. Imelda Tolentino, tagapagsalita ng MIMAROPA regional police.
Ang mga estudyante’y pawang mga kalahok sa Southern Tagalog Regional Association of State Colleges and Universities (STRATUC) Olympics na gaganapin sa bayan ng San Jose, aniya.
