JOHN LLOYD CRUZ

THE tough side in Mr. M (Johnny Manahan) melts.

He said that John Lloyd must have learned his lesson and should be very careful the next time.

I agree. Hindi man pinasubalian ni Mr. M ang naganap na very uncomfortable issue on Lloydie pero bilang ama, he said his piece. I admired him for that. Honestly. That’s all a child needs to comfort him, to assure him na meron isang amang tatayo para sa kaniya come what may.

Sabihin pa nating mali ang ginawa ni John Lloyd but who are we to judge? His track record will speak for him, tulad ng sinabi ni Mr. M that he works damn hard – kahit inaabot siya ng 18 hours sa pagtatrabaho at times ay wala kang maririnig na reklamo sa mahusay nating aktor. Kumbaga, it was his time to relax and it just so happened that he was in a not-so-good company kaya siya napahamak in a way.

But more than that, natuwa ako sa pagpasok ni Mr. M sa eksena. Hats off to you, Mr. M. Iyan ang ama -nandiyan para ibigay ang nararapat na suporta sa kaniyang anak.

Mr. M came into the picture not just as a manager but as a second parent to his ward. Ganyan naman talaga dapat ang role ng isang manager – bilang second parent to every child/artist, he must be there to defend or if not appease everything. Win-win ang ginawa ni Mr. M. The acknowledgement of the misdemeanor is very subtle pero the family support that he gave John Lloyd was gigantic.

I saw that in Ms. Mariole Alberto too, Mr. M’s co-head of Star Magic artists, in the past, though mas silent lang si Ms. Mariole pero dama mo ang pagiging guardian niya sa mga bagets.

Kung may nagawa man si John Lloyd na kamalian, tao lang siya just like all of us.

Not because you are a bankable star na kahina-hinayang, but because isa kang anak na iniluwal niya sa industriya at kailangang i-guide.

What made his statement huge was because of its sincerity and candidness. Wala nang anik-anik pa. For sure, sobrang saya ni Lloydie to realize that he has good parents sa Star Magic in Mr. M and Ms. Mariole. Puwede na siyang matulog nang mahimbing and go back to work the next day. After all, everything has been said and done, di ba?

Pero Lloydie ha, tulad nga ng sinabi ni Mr. M, you must have learned a lesson from those kalokahan kaya you have to be very careful na.

Kaya pakisaup lang kay Ellen, you and your camp have harmed John Lloyd already kaya dapat shut up na lang. Wala na yung mga ganyan-ganyang comments. Kakabuwisit.
