“You know, when I was 18 years old, when I was 20, I said I wanna get married when I’m 27. I’m 27 now! So, tingnan natin, that’s something private that I’d like to keep with me.

“Siyempre, I want to make a surprise to my partner and make it a surprise for myself. That day will come. And when that day comes, people will know,” paliwanag ni Matteo sa presscon ng bagong ad campaign ng Sun Life Financial, ang “Make It Mutual.”

We’ll see. All these life goals are going to be realistic to me.”

Ha-hahaha!” Dugtong ng binata, “Hindi ko pa alam. I-research ko pa. I don’t know how much I should set aside, we have to think about that pa. Pero siyempre, it has to be something realistic.”

We’re all planning that one day, we’d like to tie the knot and move on to the next chapter.

“Where we put up our own families and build our own homes with our children. That’s the ladder that I wanna follow from how my parents raised me. Parang ngayon, I’d like to climb my own ladder, too, from zero.

“From how I started in showbiz up to today, I’d like to climb. Hopefully, all those life goals, I’ll achieve them along the way,” chika pa ni Matteo.

Dubbed “Make It Mutual,” the vlogs will tackle topics relevant to personal finance, such as growing one’s money, beating inflation and investing regularly. To make it easy for the viewer to relate these to real life, the modules shall be demonstrated in themes familiar to them, like travel, fashion, and fitness, among others. All videos will be shared via social media to make it readily accessible.

Sey ni Matteo, “I’m thankful for the opportunity to lead another financial literacy campaign for SLAMC. It’s definitely relevant and timely. I myself have life goals I’d like to pursue, and I’m happy to share that ever since I ‘made it mutual’ with Sun Life, I’ve been well on my way to achieving all those goals. It would be great if more Filipinos can experience the same.”
