Role ni Kris sa Hollywood movie pang-ekstra lang; Heart nag-audition din pero bumagsak
NAIISKUPAN din pala kami ng aming mga non-showbiz friends to think that we breathe showbiz.
Ito ang aming napagtanto nang tinipon ng aming balikbayan childhood friend na si Rainer Lim (who recently flew in from Los Angeles, California).
Nagsilbing bangka ng tsikahan ang government nurse na si Rodel Angeles.
Not necessarily a fan of Kris Aquino, kinumpirma ni Rodel na bit role lang daw ang itinoka sa aktres in her much-ballyhooed Hollywood film, ang “Crazy Rich Asians.” Really?
Early on kasi, Kris—much to her excitement—had announced to all and sundry kung paanong she was contacted to try her luck at the auditions na naipasa naman daw niya after complying with the requirements.
Para nga naman sa kanyang mga tagahanga, Kris’ being able to penetrate Hollywood—which is every Pinoy actor’s ultimate dream—was a feat. Or so they thought.
Kamukat-mukat mo—ayon nga kay Rodel—Kris failed to land a lead role kundi isang maliit na papel lang pala. Hindi lang sure ang aming kausap kung ilang eksena ang gagawin ni Kris.
Pero hindi roon natapos ang kuwento ni Rodel, isa rin daw pala sa mga nag-audition for the said project was Heart Evangelista.
For some unexplained reason, however, hindi natanggap ang maybahay ni Sen. Chiz Escudero. Anyare?
Naku, ayaw naming isipin that because Kris and Heart have the same birthday (February 14) ay halos pareho rin ang sinapit nilang kapalaran.
We’re more inclined to believe that between the two Hearts’ Day-born actresses ay hindi kailangan ni Heart ng isang Hollywood movie.
After all, she doesn’t run out of projects in GMA while common knowledge namang career-wise, Kris has her fingers stuck in her mouth.
As in “nganga.”
