TULAD ng inaasahan, sina Coco Martin at Vice Ganda ang napiling Phenomenal Stars of Philippine Cinema para sa 48th Box Office Entertainment Awards ng Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation. Ito’y para sa pelikula nilang “The Super Parental Guardians” under Star Cinema.

Bukod dito, si Coco rin ang nakakuha ng Breakthrough Performance by an Actor in A Single Program award para sa primetime series na FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano ng ABS-CBN na itinanghal namang Most Popular TV Program Primetime Drama.

Ang iba pang kasamahan ni Coco sa nasabing serye na pararangalan ng GMMF ay sina Arjo Atayde bilang TV Supporting Actor of the Year, Susan Roces, TV Supporting Actress of the Year, Yassi Pressman, Most Promising TV Actress of the Year, Awra Briguela, Breakthrough Child Star of Movies & TV at si Onyok Pineda bilang Most Popular Male Child Performer.

Kokoronahan naman bilang Box-Office King & Queen ang tambalan nina Daniel Padilla at Kathryn Bernardo para sa blockbuster hit movie nilang “Barcelona” na ipinalabas last year.

Samantala, ang Kapuso Primetime King naman na si Dingdong Dantes ang nanalo bilang Film Actor of the Year para sa “The Unmarried Wife” ng Star Cinema, habang si Vilma Santos naman ang Film Actress of the Year para sa pelikulang “Everything About Her” mula pa rin sa Star Cinema.

Wagi naman bilang Prince & Princess of Philippine Movies sina Alden Richards at Maine Mendoza para sa launching movie nilang “Imagine You And Me”, habang sina Jericho Rosales at Kim Chiu naman ang itinanghal na TV Actor and Actress of the Year para sa kanilang mga teleseryeng Magpahanggang Wakas at The Story Of Us, respectively.

Kokoronahan naman bilang Prince and Princess of Philippine TV sina James Reid at Nadine Lustre para sa primetime series nilang Till I Met You.

Samantala, si Aden ang nagwaging Male Recording Artist of the Year for his album “Wish I May” (Diamond Record) at “Say It Again” (Gold Record) habang si Sarah Geronimo naman ang Female Recording Artist of the Year para sa kanyang “The Great Unknown” album (Platinum Record).

Magaganap ang awards night para sa 48th Box Office Entertainment Awards sa Henry Lee Irwin Theater, Ateneo de Manila University sa darating na May 14.
